Whereas now its sort of more integrated, because in those days if you wanted any Asian food you had to cook it at home, there were no takeaways or very few takeaways where you could buy Asian food. But now, Asian food is very popular, more popular in English society than in Asian. You had to go down to Thornton Lodge to buy Asian food, but then gradually as time went on people started buying shops on Blacker Road, actually there was just one grocery shop there, and then others opened up. A Halal store eventually opened up later on, and then other people followed on.
