Subject: Coming to England
I came to England on the 18th of January 1961. I went straight to Glasgow, I didn’t know anybody but there was a relation there, so I went to him. I was two months in Glasgow; we travelled to Huddersfield by railway when we came. That was the first time I saw sunshine, coming into England. In Glasgow, I didn’t see any sunshine; it was always foggy.
