Mamuna Karim
Mamuna Karim born in Huddersfield on 26th December 1967, lived with her parents and five siblings in Crosland Moor, Huddersfield. She attended Crosland Moor Junior School and Moor End High School, from which she then went to Nottingham University and graduated with a degree in Chemistry. Mamuna left Huddersfield in 2001, but has fond memories of the way life was for a young Asian girl growing up with two cultures. Mamuna regularly visits Huddersfield to visit family and to show her children the diversity of cultures within the area.
