Shamim Begum
Shamim lived in Pakistan and married Ashraf who had migrated to England in 1960. She moved from Pakistan to England in 1964 and came to live in a 'one and a 1/2' bedroomed house on Leeds Road. She has lived in Huddersfield since she first came and three of her six children were born in Huddersfield. She now lives with her husband in Birkby, across the road from her eldest son.
