Satwant. K. Samra
Satwant came to England in 1969 after marrying her husband who had already settled in Huddersfield. Her husband returned to India to marry and married Satwant in 1968, from which they both returned to Huddersfield in 1969. Satwant soon after had her first son and became a housewife. Satwant made friends through the Sikh Temple and describes the first Sikh Temple in the Highfields area in Huddersfield.
